This three dimensional roofing underlayment is specifically designed for use with the increasing metal roofing market to allow air flow between the deck and the metal panel. Dry-Tech is also applicable as a ventilated siding material.

Dry-Tech Specification

  • DRY-TECH is a 4 layer Self Ventilating, Roofing Underlayment for use with Metal roofing panels
  • Outer layer of Polypropylene mesh bonded to a Non-Permeable Membrane
  • PP Underlayment bonded to Hydrophobic treated (water repelling) PP Monofilament Mesh
  • Not susceptible to noise when windy
  • Acoustic value 8 db
  • High tensile and nail strength
  • Peel and Stick 4 in. overlap included
  • Can be laid Horizontally or Vertically

RoofAquaGuard DRY-TECH

  • Covers irregularities within roof deck that could de-form metal panels
  • Fully Waterproof and prevents moisture penetration
  • Acoustic value 8 db and helps reduce external hammering of rain and street noise
  • Will not bond with underside of metal panels in hot conditions
  • Allows movement between the outer panels and the deck structure
  • Prevents condensation that occurs on the underside of metal panels from re-entering the roof structure. Any build-up of moisture between the roof panels and Dry-Tech will be channeled safely to the eves due to the nature of the 1/3 inch Polypropylene mesh
  • Offers protection against external moisture that may penetrate the metal roof panels
  • Provides and air space below Zinc and Copper panels to allow protective oxidation to take place
  • Can be used as a temporary water proofing barrier. Maximum UV exposure is 120 days
